Male Carers day trip to Sanquhar Museum by train.

Join us for a trip to Sanquhar and a visit to the Sanquar Museum to discover Sanquar’s world famous knitting tradition and the story of the mines and miners of Sanquhar and Kirkconnel. What was it like to be a prisoner in Sanquhar jail?  

Following the Museum tour we will enjoy lunch at the Glendyne Hotel 12.30pm.We look forward to some of our Upper Nithsdale Male Carers joining us ????. Hopefully the date and times suit you all and the sun shines. Carers contribution towards meal £10.

Departure times from your local train station 

Gretna Green 10.09 am.

Annan 10.21 am.

Dumfries 10.37 am.

Arrive Sanquhar 11.14am

Depart Sanquhar 14.35pm  

Carers must be registered with the centre to attend.
