Event Space

Our recently refurbished Event Space is a bright, airy & versatile venue ideal for third sector, health, education and business events such as conferences, meetings, training and award celebrations. Located below the Carers Centre office on Nith Street, Dumfries, it offers a prime central location with plenty of free parking close by and accessible by many major bus routes.

The open plan Event Space offers multi functional areas from meeting & conference space to Café style seating. There is also a kitchenette and two small cosy partitioned rooms.

FAQ:

How many people can the space accommodate? Up to a maximum of 50 people but please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Is there a TV/Projector: Yes, we have a large 70” TV that you can connect your laptop to via HDMI cable (cable supplied).

Do I need to bring our own laptop? Yes, we do not supply laptops.

Is there any Flip Charts? Yes, we can supply up to 2 Flip Charts with pens & paper.

Can we order our own catering? Yes, it would be your own responsibility to order lunch. You are more than welcome to have your lunch in the event space, there is café style area you can use.

What kitchen facilities are there?  In the kitchen you will have access to Mugs, Glasses, Water Jugs, Kettle, Urn & Cutlery. You also have the option to purchase refreshments:-Tea/Coffee, Sugar/Sweeteners, Milk & Biscuits.

Toilets: There are two gender neutral toilets.

Is there wheelchair access: Yes, ramp access is available.

Costs:

Event Space: £25.00 per hour between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend hires will incur additional costs, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Refreshments: £2.00 per head.  Inc. tea, coffee, milk, sugar, sweeteners & biscuits.
